NeuroTrader Cookie Policy
Effective October 22, 2026 · NeuroTrader by Arileus Intelligence Systems, LLC
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies and similar technologies NeuroTrader (operated by Arileus Intelligence Systems, LLC) uses on https://neurotraderai.com and https://app.neurotraderai.com (the "Platform"), what we use them for, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device by a website's server. We also use browser local storage and tracking pixels for equivalent purposes. This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.
What changed on October 22, 2026: we now use advertising and retargeting pixels (Section 4) to measure our marketing campaigns and show relevant ads. They run only with your consent in the EU, UK and EEA, and elsewhere unless you opt out. Your choice is stored in the nt_consent cookie and applies to both the website and the app.
1. Essential Cookies and Storage (always on)
These are strictly necessary for the Platform to function — signing you in, keeping your session secure, remembering core preferences and remembering your cookie choice. They are processed on the legal bases of contract performance and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR) and do not require consent.
- Authentication/session cookies and tokens — keep you signed in to your account; cleared on logout
- Security and load-balancing cookies set by our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare) — protect the Platform against abuse; typically expire within 30 days
- Preference storage (browser local storage) — remembers UI settings such as selected assets and layout; persists until you clear your browser data
- nt_consent — records your cookie and advertising choice so we do not ask again; shared by neurotraderai.com and app.neurotraderai.com; expires after 12 months
2. First-Party Attribution Cookies
On the marketing website we set two first-party cookies to understand which campaign, creator or referral brought you to NeuroTrader. They contain no advertising identifiers and are not shared with advertising partners.
- nt_attr — stores the referral code and campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) from the link you arrived on; expires after 90 days
- nt_visitor — a random identifier that lets us correlate a visit with a later signup without storing personal information; expires after 365 days
3. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage of the Website and App (page views, feature usage, conversion events such as account creation). Our GA4 property is configured for first-party measurement only: Google Signals and ads-personalization signals are disabled, so GA4 data is not used to build advertising audiences. Analytics cookies are set on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and can be switched off in Cookie preferences.
GA4 sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which persist for up to 24 months. Aggregated analytics data is retained in GA4 for up to 14 months.
4. Advertising and Retargeting Pixels (consent-based)
We use advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, Reddit and X, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure whether our advertising brings visitors who register and subscribe, to show relevant NeuroTrader ads to people who visited the Platform (retargeting), and to stop showing acquisition ads to existing customers. These partners receive technical data such as a cookie or device identifier, your IP address, the pages you viewed and events such as registration or subscription. They may combine it with data they hold about you under their own privacy policies and may use it to improve their own advertising services. We never send them your trading activity, exchange credentials, balances or payment card details.
Where these pixels run depends on where you are: in the EU, UK and EEA they are off until you click "Accept all" (consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Everywhere else they are on by default and you can opt out at any time with "Do not sell or share my information" in the banner or the link in the footer. We honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out everywhere.
- Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) — campaign measurement and retargeting on Facebook and Instagram; expires after 90 days — https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Google Ads (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw and related) — conversion measurement and remarketing on Google; up to 90 days — https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Reddit Pixel (_rdt_uuid) — campaign measurement and retargeting on Reddit; up to 90 days — https://www.reddit.com/policies/privacy-policy
- X Pixel (muc_ads and related) — campaign measurement and retargeting on X; up to 30 days — https://x.com/en/privacy
- Google Tag Manager — loads the tags above according to your consent; sets no cookies of its own
5. Your Choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer of the website and the app. Rejecting advertising cookies does not reduce the Platform's functionality; it only stops advertising measurement and retargeting.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out from advertising cookies and from the sale or sharing of your personal information, without showing the banner.
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings — you can block all cookies, delete existing ones, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the Platform. Instructions: Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies), Firefox (Settings → Privacy & Security), Safari (Preferences → Privacy), Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions).
Partner-level controls: Google Analytics opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); Google Ads settings (https://adssettings.google.com); Meta ad preferences (https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences); Reddit ad personalization settings (https://www.reddit.com/settings/privacy); X ad settings (https://x.com/settings/ads_preferences).
6. What We Do Not Do
- No sale of personal data for money
- No cookie-based profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects
- No advertising pixels on signed-in trading screens beyond the registration, subscription and campaign events described above
- No sharing of trading activity, exchange credentials, balances or payment details with advertising partners
7. Changes and Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as the technologies we use change; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision, and a material change (such as a new advertising partner) will be announced through the banner so you can make a new choice. Questions can be sent to privacy@neurotraderai.com.
