Getting Started

Quick Start

From a fresh account to your first AI paper-trading session. No funds required — every new account starts in fully simulated paper mode.

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email and a strong password. We immediately send a verification link — click it before continuing. Until your email is verified, trading remains locked (this protects you and keeps the platform clean).

No verification email? Check spam, then use Resend verification on the sign-in screen. Still nothing? Contact support.

2. Complete onboarding

Onboarding provisions your simulated paper account with virtual funds and walks you through the basics. There is nothing to connect and nothing at risk — paper mode runs the exact same AI engines, decision pipeline, and risk controls as live trading, just against a simulated balance.

3. Review your settings

Open Settings from the app menu. The defaults are conservative, but you should review your limits before starting any AI paper session or approved controlled-live session. The five most important controls:

  • Position Size — how much of your balance a single trade may use
  • Max Open Positions — how many positions can be open at once
  • Daily Loss Cap — the hard floor: trading halts for the day if losses reach it
  • Minimum Model Agreement — how many of the 5 voting engines must agree before a trade
  • Confidence Threshold — the minimum ensemble confidence for a trade to fire

The full list is documented in the Settings Reference.

4. Start the AI

Go to the Trading page and press start. For new users, this starts a paper session using simulated funds. Before anything runs, the Pre-Flight Review shows the exact configuration the session will use — paper/live mode, position sizing, limits, exits, and thresholds. Confirm, and the AI begins analyzing on the next cycle.

Don't expect instant trades

The AI evaluates the market every cycle but executes only when agreement, confidence, and risk gates all pass. Hours without a trade in a quiet market is correct behaviour — see The Decision Pipeline.

5. Watch it work

  1. System — live engine health, market conditions, and your portfolio curve.
  2. Decisions — every evaluated opportunity with its plain-language reason: executed, skipped, or held.
  3. Signals — the visual signal feed with the AI narrator.
  4. Analytics — win rate and P&L as history accumulates.

Stopping and pausing

You are always in control. The Trading page can pause (no new entries; exits still managed) or stop the session. The floating shield icon on every page opens the Safety Console — Pause AI, Soft Exit, or Full Shutdown — your kill switch.
